PAMANA Cares

1.png

PAMANA has received funding from the Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation to assemble packages of Filipino groceries for New England-based Filipinos in need. We are excited to collaborate with The Philippine Society of Boston College (PSBC) for our Winter 2023 round of PAMANA Cares!

The goal of PAMANA Cares is to provide Filipino individuals and households in need of food assistance and/or affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with groceries from local Filipino markets. PAMANA and PSBC will shop, assemble the care packages, and ship and deliver them in December 2023.

We’ll use the following criteria to identify care package recipients - including, but not limited to those who are:

  • Over the age of 65

  • Immunocompromised

  • With sickness due to COVID-19

  • Chronic illness

  • Of limited mobility; unable to travel to grocery stores

  • Unemployed

  • Single parents

  • J-1 or H-1 visa holders

  • Going through a difficult situation not listed above? Please reach out to PAMANA!

Nominate yourself or someone you know by Wednesday, November 1st, 2023: http://bit.ly/pamana-cares-fall-2023

The total number of available care packages is limited, and will be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis. PAMANA will contact you if a care package will be delivered to your nominated individual/household. Open to residents in MA, RI, NH, CT, VT & ME only.
